Precautions when using the diesel engine for the first time

When the diesel engine (including the new machine and the overhaul machine) is put into use for the first time, the following preparations must be made before starting the diesel engine:

1.Check the integrity of the machine, the tightness of the bolts of each component and make sure no looseness of each pipe joint.

2. For new machines, the oil should be removed and wiped clean.

3. For the new machine, the diesel crankshaft should be manually rotated several times.

4. Add enough fuel to the fuel tank.

5. Add a qualified brand of engine oil to the diesel engine.

6. Check the battery electrolyte gravity, which should be in the range of 1. 29g / cm ³.

7. Check whether the high pressure oil pump rack is flexible, whether the throttle lever is flexible.

8. Fill the fixed fueling point with oil according to daily maintenance.

9. Deflation of the fuel line: When the new diesel engine or the overhauled diesel engine is used for the first time, the fuel supply system must be deflated, otherwise the diesel engine may not be started. After cleaning the fuel tank and replacing the diesel filter, the fuel supply system must also be exhausted.

10. Check and tension all V belts after starting the diesel engine for 15-20 minutes.

11. After the first or 20-hour operation of the new or overhaul machine, the oil and oil filter should be replaced; check the tightening of the inlet and outlet pipe bolts (nuts) and other fasteners; check the air filter and turbine Sealing of the joint between the supercharger and the intake pipe; inspect and tighten the fastening bolts of the diesel engine feet; check the tightness of the oil circuit.
